The reservoir, flower ports, seals and camera position are designed around nectar feeding. Do not assume a seed model can become a nectar feeder without a compatible accessory. With dual-camera models, look at what each camera shows and whether those views will be useful at your chosen spot.
A bigger reservoir can leave more old nectar to discard. Start with a batch you can replace as conditions require. Neither reservoir size nor recorded visits tells you how much a bird drinks.
