Use a camera you already own
The Wasserstein Bird Feeder Camera Case is a feeder housing. It comes without a camera, storage service or bird-ID plan. Start with the model printed on your camera, not just its brand.
Choose a model to see the storage checks. A camera with a similar name is not automatically a fit.
Check the view before committing
Wasserstein does not give a close-focus distance for each compatible camera. Check that your camera can show a bird clearly at the perch and that the housing does not block its view or motion sensor. A sharper security-camera picture across a yard does not establish a sharp close-up.
Leave room for charging and cleaning
The case can use a strap on a small tree or pole, or a metal wall mount. Keep it reachable so you can take the camera out for charging, battery changes and washing the food compartment. Keep the camera, cables and connections dry. The product page does not give a complete disassembly or dishwasher procedure; ask for the case instructions before ordering if taking it apart is a concern.

Before it goes outside
Check the exact mount and any required adapters, the loaded weight, and whether you can safely reach the feeder for cleaning. Keep included parts visible on your shopping list so you do not buy them twice.
